Three Big Bulldogs sitting in a row...one says stop the others say go...Well not exactly Wordsworth I grant you but close enough for Jazz (or poetry) for Biglorryblog. Yes it's Big Macks to go time courtesy of Gary 'Hopalong' Richards who says: "Hey Brian, this time I have some REAL truck working shots to share - a bevy of big Macks belonging to Lampson - probably the largest fleet of heavy haulers in Oz, and part of the US based Lampson group."

And here's two more at the back of whatever it is they're pushing and pulling...and click through here to see for yourselves exactly what it is!

And here it is..a great big lump on a great big beam trailer. Anyroadup Gary says: "This collection of Mack Titans (pulling) and Mack CLR Superliners (pushing) would typically each have fitted with a Mack EA9 610 engine, Mack T318 18spd main box and a Spicer 4 spd aux running through Renault 3045 (30 tonnes) hub reduction axles. So with a combined 3000hp, each with 72 gears and having a 300t GCM rating, these big dogs would have made easy work of the 500-tonne through country Victoria!!"

And here's the complete outfit (or as much as you can get in the camera frame....) Gazza also says: "For BLB fans that are into the heavy lift, the Lampson website shows their impressive range of lifting and hauling equipment http://www.lampson.com.au/truck_pulled "

AND here's one they built earlier. "As you'll see, these pictures and info came from John W, who is a proud Mack man - apart from operating a Mack Superliner for Modern Towing (his current and new ride attached), John (AKA Disco) is part of the organising committee for the inaugural Mack Muster being held next Easter in Victoria."

Their web site www.mackmuster.com.au is keeping the bulldog fans abreast of developments of this gathering - in the 120th year of the reign of the Bulldog (well, Mack) !! regards, Gary.." Great stuff GR and keep resting that leg!
