Bob Tuck writes: "Brian, forgive me if you've seen this before. I was just looking for something else and came across it. I know we're all used to seeing all sorts of things from South Africa but this looks like it shows Aus. Again, if this is a well-known famous shot forget it but I thought other BLB nutters might like to see it! Cheers, Bob." Well it's certainly new on me too and do any of BLB's Aussie anorak army know what it relates too? I count eight in the picture! And if anyone knows who the snapper is let me know so I can credt them.....
Eight trucks hauling a great big lump err...somewhere. Is it the outback wonders Biglorryblog?

Many thanks for posting Bob, I had not seen this before. To think you could replace pretty much all of those wagons with a couple of MK 2 Contractors, proper King of the Road stuff mate.
don't know for sure what the hell is going on in this shot bob,but this nutter loves it!
Hi Brian, it's a bit of a puzzler is this one as the absence of the yellow Oversize sign on the front of the first unit would make me think that it could be in Southern Africa. Although the hills in the background remind me a bit of The Flinders Ranges in South Australia heading up towards Woomera, obviously off the bitumen road between Port Augusta and Alice Springs. Just a guess but it's worth a pie and please could you make it a Hollands Pie.
And talking of pies, the guy who is eating the rhubard pie on the May 21 2009 Pie Page, can you ask him if his screen saver is a picture of a Volvo belonging to Oversize Transport Perth W.A.
Regards Steve.
Actually, says 'The Pie Man, it's a FH16 8x4 belonging to a UK operator and the background is either Immingham Docks or Hull...but nice try. And as soon as I can remember who the operator was I'll post up a picture!
