So I'll send you a couple of pics of my old man's 1959 630 Diamond T.. still in the TNT fleet colours..( it's last working assignment ) and a shot of him at his induction into the Australian Transport Hall of Fame in 2005.. if you could post these up with the other Diamond T pics already in BLB, I know he would be 'wrapped...'. Ahhh TNT..Thomas Nationwide Transport and the great Ken Thomas. He once did an interview with young Murdo Morrison for Commercial Motor whilst visiting the UK where he claimed the first professional load he ever did was carrying a load of lavatory pans....only that's not what he called them!
And here's Wayne's Dad at the Road at his induction into the Australian Transport Hall of Fame in 2005....well-earned I'd say. After the Diamond T I wonder what he'd make of an FH XXL Wayne!.

yep - you are correct. WW is part of my PMP team - another mad truckie at Volvo Group Aust (the new corporate name for the combined Volvo, Mack and UD market company)
Wayne has just celebrated 20 year with the company so the diesel runs thick in his veins!!

Hi Brian,Errol is quite well known in Brisbane.As for my Diamond,there has been a little progress,the gaurds and bonnet have been painted,I reckon it`s only months away now.....Anyway,when it changes signifigantly,you`ll have the pics.
Actually Brian,Wayne might want to send you the restoration pics of Errol`s Diamond T.It had a container fall on it while it was working for TNT and Errol did the schmick job you can see here of repairing it.The truck that Errol used as a parts truck for the repair also ended up being restored and ususlly makes an appearence at the HCVAQ Cleveland Show.
