Not, surprisingly, one of the Three Wise Guys about to take the motorway to Bethlehem but another curiosity from 'The Keeper of the Flame' Martin Phippard..."Hiya," he says, "Having seen the images of the older White trucks-cum-buses I felt I had to send this image of the famous Nairn Transport Company's Marmon-Herrington 6x6 articulated buses that provided an overland Damascus-to-Baghdad service in the late 1930s!  As usual I was unable to find my own pictures of these interesting outfits so am indebted to transportcafe.co.uk for the image in this instance. BR, Martin P." So is this guy the driver....or the clippie?

Oh, I've always been fascinated by those Nairn buses. I think they were the first air-conditioned buses. I've never seen that picture, thanks so much for sharing it!

Looks like just another camel jockey to me...
