It might be over for you but Bob Tuck is still enjoying his Christmas and he tells Biglorryblog: "Hi Brian, it may have been the last Christmas card to arrive at Low Worsall but as you can see the one we got from Michael Bammel must have been the best! It also came with a request for help to all BLB readers. If you click onto Michael's web site www.heavy-haulage-history.de you will see that he has a great passion about UK heavy haulage in general and Crane trailers in particular. There was a book called 'We Made Trailers,' written about the history of Cranes up to the 1960s but Michael is wanting to follow this up with a second more comprehensive one." Now clikc through here for more...

Bob continues: "Obviously living in German means the logistics of Michael's research is a bit difficult but if anyone can help with suitable material, he says he will scan this and return it as soon as possible. He also says he will reimburse the sender for mailing costs and of course credit any help when the book comes out. Michael's contact e mail address' etc are on his website. He admits it's a while since he's updated it but he's still very keen to hear from anyone who can help. Cheers Bob." So who can lend a hand?
