Mack C'liner - feb 1981.jpg

I couldn't resist putting this up....It's from 1981 and has been sent to me by  Gary 'Two Hats, leg getting getter, and red-hot scanner' Richards...he's sent me a whole shed-load of classic Aussie truck ads from back numbers of Truck & Bus Transportation  of that year and over the next couple of days I'll be posting them up but thought you might like this as a little teaser...and being in 'Expando-Vision' one click on the photo shows a bigger image....GRRRRRRR!

That is one beautiful truck! I saw a Cruiseliner with headlamps like that in Seattle once. I assumed it was a custom local modification as U.S.-produced Cruise-Liners all had standard round headlamps. I now know the resourceful owner got the parts from Australia.
