Cam has sent me this collection from the Allora Truck and Tractor show held on the Australia Day weekend... And let's kick off with this collection of cure utes... And thanks to 'Expando-Vision' you can see them in a bit more detail and for a pie let's have that, line-up now click through here for more little'uns and big-bangers!
And how about this lne-up?
And what's this?
One for Vic
Big-banger...but what is it?
A least I can see this is an Autocar...couldn't have been too many of those in Oz?
Cam says: "The Autocar is owned by Jim Cooper who owns Gulf Transport and Powertrans
which you've done a few stories on in the past. He has loaned the truck to
Bill Baskett for the Transport museum at Winton. Bill brought the Commer
Knocker to the show from the Gatton Museum as well. When he went to load it,
a bloke went up to him and said, have you had that truck running for long?
Bill asked him why, and he told Bill a bloke had p*ssed in the fuel tank,
reckoned he couldn't wait to find the toilet at the museum and just releived himself in Bill's fuel tank. Billy was pretty impressed as you could imagine......."
Little Dodge..who can tell me more?
Parked in the paddock...
A brace of big-bangers...
Nice Trader...
And here's Commer knocker too...now with AdBlue 'Urea' tank if Cam's to be believed!

Cam has also sent this selection and says: "Hi Brian, a couple of pics of another White I went out to pick up..".
"We also got the old Bedford ute as well, which I tried to give away at Allora and couldn't find any takers, I thought it might have been headed for China, but we got back to our yard yesterday arvo, and the bloke across the road fell
in love with it."
Handy loading ramp helps get the job done!
With a bit of a shove from the back....
And here's the little 'un Cam was looking to sell.....
Cam adds: "The last pic taken from the rear of the trailer shows the 'deluxe' sleeping arangments at Allora, a couple of swags under the trailer, I'm sincerely glad it didn't rain, not that it even looked like it...."
And here's the last batch from Mr McFadyen....I've got RSI now! (Nice Ford though...)

Speaking of bonneted Mercs...
Ooohhh me aching mouse finger......

What is it? Is it an AEC Marshall?
The "little Dodge" from Western oilfields has an International Harvester cab. North American Dodge cabs were very different. Was this a common feature?
What is it?
Is it an AEC Marshall?
Looks like a great show Cam, are you blokes trying to challenge Sandown? Better get up next year and have a look myself.
The cabin on the little Dodge is an IH design, built by Chrysler and used by both companies from 62 till 1980.
Hi Mac,the little Dodge actually has an Australian Dodge cab on it,and the Australian Internationals used the Dodge cab,not the other way around.
I think the other truck is a Mammoth Major?
You could be right about the Mamouth Major Ah! memories, memories. The fastest tipper in the west; the fly-poppers dream. Check this out:-
