It's not how big it is...it's what you do with it that counts. Biglorryblog is grateful to Graham Kircher who has sent me this little blazer and he says: "This is the smallest truck in the fleet a 1985 Mitsubishi Mini Cab imported into Australia five years ago. It has a twin-cylinder 800cc water-cooled engine, and seats 4 fire fighters---two in the cab and two in the outside seat behind the cab, it carries a twin-cylinder two-stroke water-cooled portable pump, 100 metres of hose and 10-metres of suction hose. What's more it's only travelled 3800km from new! This little truck was given to my wife as a Christmas present ..." Now that's what I call a Christmas present Graham!.

Could that possibly have originally come from Hong Kong?
Looks like Chinese characters on the back (could be Japanese though*).
Mainland China is LHD, so it wouldn't have come from there. Japan, Thailand, HKG, Singapore and Malaysia all use RHD.
FWIW, on the Philippine island of Boracay, they have a similar firetruck. It's the only firetruck on the island, and gets used so seldom that they don't actually have a fuel budget for it. A few years ago, the market caught fire and they discovered the battery was totally drained from lack of use, and there was no fuel for it! Caused quite the scandal!
* Confirmation from a local friend of mine: It's Traditional Chinese. But he doesn't understand what it's saying.
Ciao from Italy!
Maybe a smaller fire truck existed. And what else if not an "Ape" by Piaggio?
Try to look at this. Some blogs say it was in service till 2002.
