Timothy Cotton has got the 'Spot the Truck' bug on Finnish Weather Webcams on Bigloryblog and he's sent me this one from the Kintaus camera: "A Sisu tipper by the look of it. Seen at Kintaus (Jyvaskylaan) Saturday just before 10 (Finnish time)." Welll you definitely get poitns for a truck and for it being a Sisu Tim!

'The Keeper of the Flame' Martin Phippard is clearly not a man to be challenged, especially when it comes to Biglorryblog's popular Finnish Weather Webcams 'Spot that truck' competition . No sooner do I lay down my recent entries than he's volleyed this lot back over the net---two double tankers from the old Hirvaskangas junction! And he says: "Well I couldn't simply allow you to become undisputed 'King of the Finnish Webcams' could I? So here's a few I found earlier today. Sad? Who me? Martin." Mmmmmm....what else can I say but 'GAME ON!'
George Fry has joined Biglorryblog in his excellent game of 'Spot the Truck on Finnish Weather Webcams' http://alk.tiehallinto.fi/alk/english/frames/kelikamerat-frame.html and he's kindly sent me these 'spots' and the message: "Weather cams (to much time on my hands) about 15-mins for these." And first of is the good-old favourite Ahvenkoski lay-by and bridge...and don't forget 'double-bottoms' get double points! Now click through for more from George....

Hello... What have we here? It's a while since we paid a visit to the old Finnish weather webcams and in particular to Biglorryblog's favourite site at Ahvenkoski... And clicking on the webcam for 15.25 this afternoon what should I spy? Yes it's a SISU! And how appropriate that Finland's very own truck maker should be centre stage on a Finnish weather web-cam... It works for me. And should you wish to vist the webcam home site for yourself then why not use this handy link?

Hello... What's that pulling out of the layby in full view of the weather webcam at Ahvenkoski (or as you might also know it Loviisaan)? Yes it's time to return to the wonderful world of Finnish weather webcams and 'spot that truck' Only on Biglorrblog!

I love hard work---I could watch it all day. Especially if it's on the webcams at the Axis Intermodal Fergusson grid A container terminal at the Port of Auckland in New Zealand---Rod tells me he's already got the air con on too so it's obviously building up for a hot one http://www.axis-intermodal.co.nz/About/WebCam.aspx?BledisloeGrid

And within the space of just a couple of minutes it's been all work-work, busy-busy, chop-chop, bang-bang at Fergusson Grid A as these webcams shots show...

Enter the straddle carrier stage right....wonder if Rod's got any boxes going through...?

Now it's back for the middle lane..and for a pie what are the trucks you can see?
Only it's not all-go as you can see if you click through here....
Thanks to Nick Fone I am now awake to this rather nice website which features a 'live action'; in-truck webcam. Nick e-mails me to say: "Brian, I hope you are well. Happy festive greetings, etc....You may already be aware of this site but I thought it was interesting it's been voted into the top 25 most interesting webcams (in America, I suspect) The link is as follows http://www.bigrigtravels.com/ Cheers,Nick nick@nickfonemedia.co.uk"
Thanks Nick and well worth checking out BLB fans...

I've tried, God knows I've tried...but I just can't stay away from the fabulous Finnish Weather webcams..and here's just a quick selection for all you avid weather webcam watchers on Biglorryblog...staring with the Hanku site at 17:23 this afternoon..and for a pie what's the truck?

Better conditions...at the Pomarku site at 15:40.

And if you're really good tell me what this is--naturally it's from the Vartiela webcam at a frosty 13.41...don;t brake too hard on this stuff....

Rod Simmonds, Biglorryblog's regular contributor and Krafty Kiwi in New Zealand sent me an e-mail suggesting I should "check out the Axis Intermodal webcams tonight" at the Port of Auckland. Here's the web link http://www.axis-intermodal.co.nz/About/Fergusson.aspx
Well I did but I didn't see anything unusual...or did I. Is that an old Volvo F10 or F12...on the Fergusson Grid B webcam? And what's that in the background (for a pie?) But this can't be what he's on about. Anyway he did say: "may need wipers on!'
Whatever that means---Rod can be quite obtuse at times. anyroadup click through here for another shot from Axis...
