I'm part-time retired, but unable to stay away. I have worked most of my life in and around trucks and truck drivers. In my opinion the haulage business has never been as bad as it seems to be now.
In the past road hauliers were always assumed to be rogues, into making a fast buck. Now, with the total legislation that is in place, it would be quite understandable if hauliers looked for an easy way round the problems. Look to your leaders (the politicians) and I think you will see where I am going.
Our only chance is to join together on, put up one united front, and see if we can get back to a sensible situation.
