New high-cube vans for £32 per month

How does the thought of leasing a brand new recently launched high-cube van, in the mould of the VW Caddy, appeal? That is the launch offer for the new Dacia Logan Van, but what's one of those, I hear you cry.

UK operators may recall the dire Renault 12-based Dacia pickup sold in the UK in the days when Dacia was owned by the Romanian government. Today, Renault is in charge, and Dacia is its low-cost brand for developing markets, and the Logan is its first product. The Van follows the Sedan and the MCV (MPV) versions. Power is from Renault's 70hp 1.5DCi 70hp or 75hp 1.4 and 90hp 1.6MPi (petrol) engines, with five-speed gearboxes.
Priced from €5,639 (£3,850), the Van has an 800kg payload and a 2.5m3 load volume. In keeping with its budget concept, there are no specially engineered sliding side doors, access being through the normal hinged doors of the MCV. There's a full range of available options, including airbags everywhere, air conditioning and CD player.
