Ford creates a monster - Will's Roadtransport Revival

Well it’s not often that a vehicle manufacturer will admit that its vans are ugly is it – so good on Ford for its honesty.
Meet the Fordmonster – otherwise known as the MkI Transit Parcel Van. Apparently “it makes up in duty what it lacks in beauty”. The small print goes on to say:

“No apologies. If it looks like a monster from outer space, it’s simply because it’s got an inner space of cosmic proportions…..Come and meet our friendly monster soon and go for a stroll inside. It could be the start of well, not a beautiful friendship – but a highly profitable one.”
Personally I reckon Mercedes-Benz could try a similar advertising campaign today for its aesthetically-challenged Vito high-roof.
