Destination eBay - Will's Roadtransport Revival

LoEast.JPG

Operating to the Middle East is easier with a Mercedes-Benz apparently – not that this is going to be of any interest to UK hauliers today. In fact, how few British firms even venture across the channel these days, let alone to Baghdad or Tehran.
Incidentally I assume everyone is familiar with the film Destination Doha - which follows three Astran trucks as they make their way from the UK to Qatar? If you haven't seen it then you need to get your hands on a copy. It’s quite an amazing journey, and features some great 1970s trucks. This is the film that inspired me to take my HGV test when I was 21.
I’ve just typed it into eBay, and incredibly there are a couple of people selling the DVD.
Here’s a link to one of them – although I stress that I know nothing about the seller and certainly aren’t being held responsible if you don’t like the film or the transaction goes tits-up for any reason! Enjoy.
