Trojan workhorse – Will’s Roadtransport Revival

TrojanLow.JPG

Here’s one you had probably forgotten about - the Trojan van.
Ignoring an eight year break between 1940 and 1948 – Trojan made vehicles of some sort between 1913 to 1964. According to this website the company was based in Purley Way, Croydon – but they don’t offer much information on these later vans. Does anyone have any information they could share with us?
I have however managed to find a photo of the model I had when I was a kid. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s somewhere in my parent’s loft.

And if you are interested in Matchbox models you have to check out this fantastic website – where you’ll find just about everything the company ever made.
