Citroen XM van - Will's Roadtransport Revival

Citroen.jpg

Citroen currently prides itself on having one of the most complete van ranges. As from next spring the LCV line-up will consist of C2 Enterprise, Nemo, Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay – which isn’t bad going at all. But I reckon they are missing something – what about a nice three-axle Citroen C6 van?
It certainly wouldn’t be the first time that its flagship cars have been turned into vans – as shown by this unusual XM picture sent in by Ashley Lovering. Does anybody know what the story is behind this Maltese vehicle? Although I’m no expert, I’m pretty sure it isn’t a homemade job. I distinctly remember seeing similar van versions of the both the CX and DS, so they must be official conversions.
