Volvo buys Fiats - Will's Roadtransport Revival

VolvoFiatLo.JPG

Here’s one Volvo probably doesn’t want to be reminded of – its fleet of Fiat OM75 7.5-tonners. A bit embarrassing having to buy a competitor’s trucks isn’t it?
Then again, in my eyes this isn’t as embarrassing as the sucking-up Fiat had to do about its new customer. And I quote: “Everyone knows that Volvo have created a legend of reliability in this country”. And the winner of the 1977 Brown-Noser of the year award goes to the Italians.
