Now what's one of these then?

Civil engineering and plant hire company McCormick Contracts, based in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, has taken delivery of a 12-metre long quad-axle Andover Trailers SFCL 67 step-frame trailer, which will be used to transport the company's specialist heavy plant across Ireland.

Operating in conjunction with a Volvo FH12 460 tractor unit, it incorporates a hardwood floor, tool boxes fitted to the trailer chassis, a 300mm stop bar on the top deck, two speed leg gear and hydraulic steady legs, along with slide out safety lights and wide load marker boards.

Garreth McCormick, director of McCormick Contracts, says: "We will be using the trailer to transport excavators and loads of up to 50 tonnes. "With the SFCL 67, we have found a step frame that has near-perfect weight distribution and is flexible enough to serve our entire operation".

Wow!
