VW reveals Euro5 Crafter - with free SCR refills!

Volkswagen has unveiled its Euro5 solution for the Crafter, hot on the heels of Mercedes' Sprinter. VW has taken the surprising step of using AdBlue in conjunction with improved common rail injection, diesel particulate filter and a more efficient gearbox to enable the Crafter Blue TDI range to exceed Euro 5 and meet the EEV (Enhanced Environmentally Friendly Vehicle) standard. It has taken the surprising step of offering free refills of the 25-30 litre AdBlue tanks at VW outlets during the first three years, which we estimate would need a visit every 3,500-4,000 miles.
