intrigued by these figures, posted by KamAZ and representing its results for the
first half of 2008.
Revenue up by 25.6 per cent, unit sales up by in excess of 15 per cent, but sales profit down by 22.4 per cent, all in a market that, we are led to believe, is booming.
We can only assume that Daimler's due diligence must be an entertaining exercise; wonder if the Stuttgart lawyers have found any stray dachas yet. Leaving that aside, these numbers do add yet further confusion to any attempt at a coherent analysis of the true health of the Russian truck market.
