PACCAR, Computershare and the Workforce

This seems a bit harsh.

Word reaches us that PACCAR employees who are currently not employees - namely who are laid off - are receiving letters from Computershare closing their accounts because they are - er - not active employees. The choice: either the shares get sold, or moved to Wells Fargo at a cost of $75. Anything to do with shareholders and voting rights?

All sounds a bit grumpy to us.
