The Draft Reciprocal Common Transport Agreement

Interesting news from India, and the public consultation period for legislation that would seek 1) to place an upper age limit of 10 years on Commercial Vehicles plying their trade in the National Capital Region (NCR) - comprising Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan - and 2) to impose an Emissions standard of Bharat Stage III (Euro III in all but name) upon those same vehicles.

The Indian truck market could do with a boost: could this legislation provide just that?
