Role Profile

Our client, who is a leading retailer, is looking to source an Inventory Manager based at their South Yorkshire distribution site. The successful candidate will be responsible for stock integrity and all administration on the site. You will also be responsible for all activities relating to stock such as Locations, control and audits. Other duties include:

* To manage the planning, execution and reconciliation of the stock takes

* Ensure processes are in place to avoid stock damage/loss

* Manage the planning, execution and reconciliation of the periodic and annual stock takes.

* Ensures the team has required skill/competency to achieve objectives

* To promote stock integrity as a fundamental part of all warehousing activities.

* Responsible for maintaining Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and standards, complying to company procedures at all times.

* Manage a Stock control team of 10 comprising of clerks and team leaders



Skills & Experience

You will be an experienced Stock Control/Inventory Manager with a meticulous eye for detail. You will have experience within a fast-paced logistics environment, highly numerate and comfortable in collating, reviewing and presenting data. Knowledge of process design within a distribution centre and automated handling equipment is also highly desirable.
