National Sales Manager

We are the Market Leader in the Waste Handling Equipment manufacturing sector we serve. Proud of our British based manufacturing heritage, we have undergone considerable expansion in the last year by enhancing our product range and position in the market.
We seek to appoint a performance motivated National Sales Manager who can drive forward our current organisation and take it to the next level. Reporting to the Group Sales irector you will be responsible for the direct sales team and will help formulate the focus and direction of the Group’s sales and marketing strategy. Promotion to Sales Director should be a personal goal of the right candidate. Potentially, we may also need to expand our existing team of Area Sales Managers and would welcome applications from existing waste or vehicle sales personnel interested in joining a growing company.
Candidate Profile
• Previous experience within the waste industry sector preferred.
• Has been successfully doing the job of a hands-on Sales Manager for at least 3 years.
• Proven successful sales management skills in capital goods, with hands-on leadership qualities. Highly motivated,
professional, well trained, disciplined, tenacious, enthusiatic, focused and results driven.
• Must be able to coach, lead and motivate the sales force and get best performance from them from a field based position.
• Enhance our market position in the UK, capitalising on our recent acquisition of a complementary product range.
• Ability to thrive in a lean organisation.
• Excellent business and commercial acumen.
• Enjoys and employs technology to ensure efficiency and control over the sales force.
