An international trading company specialising in the sale of branded merchandise to major retailers worldwide is currently recruiting for an experienced Regional Shipping Manager to plan and manage international shipping services to support retail marketing programmes.
1. Manage shipping and logistics operations
2. Manage return logistics operations
3. Manage triangular and cross trade business
4. Ensure compliance with all import and export regulations
The successful Regional Shipping Manager will have extensive operational experience within an international trading environment with significant knowledge of import, export, seafreight, airfreight, and trailer operations. The successful candidate will be expected to present and lead meetings at senior management level as well as being a hands-on operator. This role will require overseas travel.
